Tortilla soup.

I made this on monday. Only problem was I didn't have corn tortillas or masa, so I just went with flour ones, turned out good anyway.

Good looking dish. We usually make a batch of tortilla soup with the leftover carcass from our leftover Thanksgiving or Christmas turkey.

Looks yummy. I think they must make it a little different around these parts or maybe it just aint quite as fancy looking. I haven't ate it too often but will testify the strategies on how to make it seem to differ greatly amongst them who peddles it. One place give it out free before the meal. It was chicken broth with a taurpolian chip floating around on top. Guess thats how he could make it free.

I did a really sub-par write up here: http://actsofbordom.blogspot.com/2009/1 ... -soup.html I didn't take enough pictures, so it's kinda incomplete.

We have some left over store bought rotisserie chicken. Seeing yours gave me a hankering so I'm gonna make some tortilla soup tonight.
