Not too much for us. We have boring weekends I guess. LOL

Daughter is going to a sleepover with her best friend......possibly tonight and tomorrow night.

Les, our son, and I are going to have an outdoor fire probably tonight and tomorrow night. We're also installing our new back door. I will have to cut grass if I don't finish the 3 extra lawns today. Mine will be done regardless. LOL

One of these days, we'll find some decent wood to try out our pit. All we have is box elder and I don't think it would be very good!

Going out to dinner tonight (BBQ) with The Food Critic from "The City Paper" and a Chef from one of the best local resaurants (oh yeah, and Jack W). :D
They are doing a big spread on BBQ and wanted to tap mine and Jacks brains. [too bad my brain was ruined by a tap (and worse) long ago] :)

The two of them are also working up a book on SC BBQ. So hopefully this will turn into lots of trips out to eat with them. :!:

Yeah Chris, right on your brain part! We're going to dinner tonight with friends, party tomorrow with some of my wifes college friends, then a FD clambake on Sunday. Pretty light schedule for the weekend!

I'm going over to Solvang tomorrow. Sharpen my knife, have some ableskeivers, shop at the health food store, and maybe hit the casino.

Sunday: Santa Barbara...all day!

Doing a practice "Comp Butt Cook" for Smoke on the Beach" Labor Day Weekend. Probably do it tomorrow night.

Friday I built Bufords pad and might do some yard work...or I'll do the yard work tommarow while I cook a brisket and some ribs....but that might change cuz I got a PM from mr.Pen..
going to have a fire in the back and grab a couple of cold ones..and I'm not talking about my wife  Laid back weekend

Not a thing, second Saturday in a row I had someone back out on a cater this month (just pulled pork) I gave them there deposit back just because they are regular customers and I know they will call again. If I kept there deposit it would be bad for business being in such a small village, Funny thing is was when the wittdog's were here last night a guy stopped by for a gig, I guess you loose some and win some. That's okay as long as I win the war.

BBQ Fest at my house for about 30 people.

4 butts
1 brisket
4 racks spares
2 rotisserie chickens
corn
pasta salad
cheesey taters

BEER !!!

Playing around with my new bass and amplification equipment today, taking the pit to a cooksite at 5:00 . Cooking butts and briskets tonight for a 2:00 serve tomorrow.
