This is just like Christmas

My youngest called me today to say that a package arrived from some guy named "Big E". She asked if he was a moffia connection . Thought she should soak it in the tub for a while . I assured her that it would be okay and I will SLOWLY open it tomorrow when I get home from work.

Thanks Big E. Cant wait to see what I got.

Well, if its true about the saying "Its Better To Give than To Recieve" Big E is a very happy man.

Dude, you went all out my brother. Thank you so much for all the goodies. I am realy looking forward to diving into that book. The rubs smell fantastic.

Thank you again and a Very Merry Christmas to the Pardo clan.

Bill the guy that wrote that book is the president of the
NCBS. It's fun reading. I'd reccomend Bob Garners
Book, North Carolina Barbecue, Flavored by Time as
a companion.

Also, Carolina Treet was a very popular sauce for chicken
when I was growing up in NC...it's sort of like Rev Marvin.

Good haul.
