That is cool. I guess the pointed part is for the meat and the cylinder is for the air temp... Thanks..

That's a Polder. Go to Bed, Bath & Beyond or Linens and Things... I think both carry it.

I'm suspect of the design.
I wouldn't rely on a "air"/pit temp being so close to the meat.
