The Great Food Truck Race

Have any of you been following "The Great Food Truck Race" on the Food Network? I kind of got hooked on this program. I'm a fan of "The Amazing Race" on the regular network and this program kind of follows a similar format.

One thing that impressed me is how the whole food truck scene has evolved from the "Roach Coach" days to something pretty trendy with quality food. So much so, that the Los Angeles Times' "Celebration of Food and Wine" this year has a whole line up of some of LA's most popular food trucks at the event. This also includes four of the trucks that are featured in the Food Network TV series mentioned above. My wife and I have already purchased tickets.

Here's a link to the LA Times event so you can check out some of the trucks and the food they serve.

Re: The Great Food Truck Race

I did catch it this last week, pretty cool and as you say far better than the Roach Coach of old. Go --- Grill 'Em All, no Nom Nom

There was a good RC when I was working out in Westlake Village. Best breakfast burritos ever!
