Bought a Thermopen at a local bbq supplier today. I have been probing everything in the house, getting readings. The OL won't let me get near her. She's really getting goosey.
Gonna try it on steak tonight.
 
Used the probe on 2 pan fried steaks tonight. Pulled them at 140* and they were perfect....way better than feel or slicing into. Much better than using a dial type deal.
 
Got one and love it. Took it to a friends house that was grilling steaks and got him to use it to griil everybodies steak to order and he loved it. He ordered two the next day. One for his house and one for his camp.
