Well as Justeen always say.."Ain't nuttin but yankees which live around Baton Rouge." (paraphrasing of course). Now Boy whut you have got a hold of there is commonly referred to as a "chicken pot pie" amongst them in the know. Now don't think I am being unkindly and both food items is some good grazings it just the old nomenclature deal is impotent to some folks. Now this apply mainly to edumacated folks of course. Now for them who went to school just to chew on the book covers..it may not matter.

It would have to have green peas in it to qualify as chicken pot pie.

Looks good JB.

Ahhh but as any po white trash Southern Boy knows a few carrots can often be found residing in the chicken n dumplins...so since the boy ain't got none means he didnt really have chicken n dumplins. Keep on diggin I can smell yankees a mile off. Same habit great great grand pap William Bedford Forrest Wheeler had. It runs in the family I guess.

Carrots are optional but potatoes are never used in chicken n dumplins, Chicken pot pie has potatoes & carrots.

Sarge one day IF you grow up & get a green card, maybe we will let you SWIM across the Sabin river n see what real food is all about.

Mean while you just stay in your everyday position (shown below):
