Skillet Fried Pork Chops

It was rainy again yesterday so I decided to cook inside. I had some nice fat pork chops so I trimmed all the fat off for my wife and hit them with just Salt & Pepper and some Italian Seasoning.

Got my Skillet going at a Medium/High with some olive oil and butter. After the butter browned up a tad I added the chops.

Few minutes on one side till they started to brown up.

Flipped them 1 more time and popped in my therm probe.

At 160 they were at a nice medium. I topped with some of that sauce I cooked yesterday too. Yumm yumm yumm!

Have a great day folks
peace

Mike the pork chops look good! But.......................you claim to be a "Southern Boy"????? A true Southern Boy would NEVER cook a poke chop without a bone! My wife cooks the boneless chops and I hate it, I have nothing to chew on!

Again, a true Southern boys sammich is either a bone in poke chop, bone in chicken piece or bone in fish on white bread!

I too like a bone in chop but these were looking good and on sale. Sale meat is always my favorite cut of meat.

We'll film using the cooker this weekend for sure. I got Butts, Brisket and ribs to throw on there and I need to make my home shot films better so I can make a good one for The Food Network.

peace
Thumbnails? I'll look for a free thumbnail proggy but I don't upload mine to site that automaticly create them. It's a link boy...COPE! lol

Don't tell me you only look at the tiny pictures and don't click them.
