Dammit, what a year. A buddy of mine is flying into Texas tomorrow
for an outdoor music festival in Austin. More concerned about Houston,
though. We don't need a second major city devastated.

How do you think those evacuees from New Orleans feel, you know the ones that were relocated to Houston! Got to feel for them for sure. I wish everyone well.

904mb right now, boyz and girlz.. 5th all time strongest storm ever recorded (based on barometric pressure) in the Atlantic Basin...Wind Speed report comes up in 15 minutes........Ain't lookin' good!!

Still looking like 50 miles SW of Galveston!! Sept., 1900 all over again? [-o<

Local weather predicting 50-70 mile an hour wind, rain and tornados on Saturday in San Antonio 160 miles from the coast and it may be worse. It looks bad. Say a prayer for those down the coast who get left behind.
