Good for rendering down and using to brown meat in or no?

I had some fatty spares I threw on and have bout a 1/3 cup of pork fat... I hate to throw it away. I use bacon fat all the time, but have never tried intercostal fat.
Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

Only thing we threw away form a pig on the farm was the squeal. But seriously, get a 2 1/2 gallon zip lock bag and keep it in the freezer. Put all your pork fat trimmings in it. When it's full render it down. Nothing better than a pie crust made with real lard. =P~
