Really Special Chocolate Cake

Tomorrow is my son's birthday and he put in a special request for a homemade cake. Yes a all made from scratch Chocolate cake with Peanut Butter frosting and Chocolate ganache. It's a deliciously rich cake that I only make for special occasions.
First layer and filling

Top layer

Most anyone would stop here

But this is what you do when you want a really good cake!

I'll try to remember to get a shot of the cake when it's cut.

Man that is enough cake for a year right there! Looks extremely rich. Would put a diabetic into insulin shock. But it looks good.

Thanks all!

We cut the cake today and it was rich, decadent and delicious. Got to have a tall ice cold glass of milk right beside it though. :P :P
Most importantly my son loved it. Oh, everyone else did too.

It's a good thing I only make this once or twice a year.

There should be laws against pics like that one of the cut cake.

Dang seem to have missed this one on the first pass. Looks mighty tasty and artistic. Sure would be good night now with a big glass of cold milk.
