Had a ton of wing tips left over, so made up some stock and then some chicken and dumplins Mmmmm!
sauteed tip in olive oil til a nice fond formed, drained fat, added mirepoix, water & rosemary and let than simmer for a couple hours.
Then lightly sauteed mirepoix in butter, boiled 3 breasts, cubed and added with water, a can of cream of celery, seasonings, boil...add dumplings. EAT!

Good job Scotty....teach an old dog something...how'd you make your dumplings?

Cheated on that...Bisquick.

Well there is no shame in that at all. I can make biscuits from scratch but I have used Bisquick for the dumplings. They turn out great.

Very nice Scotty, my kind of dumplings. For years my MIL made the noodle kind thinking they were my favorite, I ate them even though I hated them.

Bisquik dumplings always come out good. ;) Nothing at all wrong with that.
My fiance always wants me to roll the dumplings out flat and cut 'em before I add 'em (just like his grandma used to make). I told him if that's what he wanted, I'd just use croissant dough and be done with it. That shut him up.
