The winter weather is still here even though it is April…so I decided to make a nice hearty lunch…of Polish Hash…..


In one cast iron skillet combine
A couple of smashed cloves of garlic
A few taters
One can of sauerkraut
Some diced Smoked Polish Sausage
A little Onion Powder
S&P
A bit of marjoram
I nuked the taters to speed the cooking process.
Then added every thing together with some butter and fried it up. Then popped it into the oven with a little more butter on top till the top browned.
Serve with Apple Sauce (like you would for tater pancakes)

Nope, the recipie calls for:

1lb ground beef
2lb mashed taters,,,,,,,,,,,

The nuked thing threw me off...............and I had a long day! :P ;)
