Pizza oven

Well my dad has been working on making an outdoor woodburning pizza oven. He started with the plans last year and started building it early this summer. Today was his 79 birthday and we fired it up for the first time. It took about 4 trys but the fifth and last pizza came out pretty damn good. Best of all, we had a great time for his birthday.

So the boys were outside firing up the oven, the girls were inside getting fired up. That was the first time in my 50 years that I saw my mother tipsy!!! All had a real great time!

We let it burn for about 3 hours before starting to cook on her. Temps were right around 500 - 550 degrees.
