Pit Pirate TV Coming Soon....lucky you

Taking a break from setting up my new Pit Pirate TV Sound Stages. Well, I'm actually setting up my 10'x20 tent in my driveway and will back my long cooker back into it. I can put up white walls as needed to keep a clean background and add lights for night shots when things are cooking.

Later today I will go to Wallymart and see what diggy cams they got for cheap. What should I look for? Good inexpensive brand or model?

My show will be unique and I will try to show folks how to make stuff from scratch as much as I can. I'll make the Rubs I use as well as sauces with complete recipes and instructions. My show will also film at many locations starting this weekend during Pirates on the Potomac Weekend at my partner's Crabhouse on the River.

I'll have guest cooks sometimes, I'll use stuff people send me and will at times have musicians from time to time as well.

I need my theme music still as well as a standard intor for each video. I hope to talk Greg into helping me with this part.

ok, back to setting up the tent and getting cooker in place.

Thanks for the friendships and encouragement. This is the most friendly BBQ message board I have ever visited. Thanks

pics to follow

I can do whatever you need Mike...just let me know.

As far as cameras, just make sure you have an output to your computer so you can transfer it. I suggest a fire wire if you have an input on your computer for one...its also called an I-Link.

You'll need a video editing program to...or if you have a windows based machine you have Windows Movie Maker ready to go.

Good luck with that Mike. With your mug it should be a smash.

Hey Bro heres the newer vertion of camera I use
http://www.walmart.com/search/browse-ng ... NavId=3959

I also bought a 2 gig memory card & can record 30 min of video, 2 gig will store 2000 normal res photos @ 2500x1900 or 850kb each. Keep in mind that clips shot with super high quality dig movie cam will take longer to tranfer save & upload, unless its your own server thats hosting the clips The movies will be buffered down to save bandwith (reduced in quality) Also don't forget a fire extenguiser & proper ventelation BOY. Hate to see EMS at your place haulin you to the ER

Oh yeah, way to go Mike main thing is have fun

FYI...HD Cameras use 3.2MB per second of tape recording in 1440x1080! I am glad I got the 500GB internal to transfer my work too!!

This is the one I have.

lol
JB's camera is $99 and that one is $3,200.

I think my Olypus shoots video. I'll try something short and if quality is ok I'll get a larger card or I'll just go buy a camera.

Thanks
