WTF? How about a storm update? Apparently you're alive! Thanks for checking in...how far from Biloxi/NOLa are you?

Damn. My radio station would like to help. We're not real big, but we could raise some money....is there any radio station down there operating that we could partner with?

I'm an independant, and would prefer to find an independant. Cumulus, Clear Channel, Entercom, etc, will probably use their network of stations to raise aid. I'd like to find someone who we won't bother too much who could actually use our aid. It will probably be less than ten thousand dollars. I've called NOLa and lower Mississippi, but the phone lines are down in all the affected areas.

I talked to baton Rouge this morning, the LA Broadcaster's Association. They were a little help, but couldn't get me in contact with anyone. All the Nola stations who can broadcast are simulcasting, both tv and radio.
I don't want to get in the way while they're still trying to save lives.
We may just hold fundraisers for the Red Cross. Video of Gulfport reminded me of the tsunami.
