I'm a volunteer fire fighter and haven't had a full nights sleep since the stands opened on Friday. We haven't had any rain in Central
Texas since Memorial Day and temps have been around 100 for a week now. Please pass on to your children and especially teenagers what happens when those bottle rockets land in an open pasture, or on a wood shingle roof. And please do not throw those cigarettes out the car window. Everyone please be careful this dry holiday weekend. Let's keep the fires inside the pits!

In my county they have now started a mandatory no outside water usage law until further notice. If caught you will be fined and if you get caught twice, they say they will cut you off. You arent supposed to even top off your' swimming pool. Never in my life have I ever experienced this.
My tomatoes arent gonna be happy.

Been out twice today already for a total of 5 hours. Can't wait till the 4th is come and gone and they put the burn, and fireworks ban on.
