Onion Soup

We make this often but tonight I combined several different methods/recipes and it turned out to be the best I've ever made! Only thing was due to timing and where I live I was unable to get Gruyere cheese, so provolone improvised. Other than that this rocked!

BW, I have never in my life had my engine rumble and my exhaust sound the way it has this morning!!! Lot's of back pressure and I think a new catalytic converter will be needed by the time all the blow back is blown out! Woofah, even the dog is skeered!
