Well I feel sorry for folks who can't afford ham hocks..sniff sniff. Looks good Larry. Now aint how I would handle the task of course but I know yall cook different in your neck of the woods..and I take that into account to cut you some slack:)

Or just real smoked bacon in dem beans with the Saints :LOL:
 
Looking good Larry. I have a pot going right now after I saw this. Was looking for something to use up my smoked turkey from last week.

Used the recipe from "Apple Smoked Turkey Pastrami" from last week's post for the turkey and made a lot of nice rueben sandwiches as per the post's suggestion afterwards.
