neighborhood moose

I went out to run some errands this morning and got a block from the house when I saw this three moose so I returned home and got the camera. The cow and the calf were in one neighbors yard. The calf is kneeling down to eat. The bull was about two houses away.

They don't. The rut has been over for a month so the bull just happened to be around.

Well back in a previous incarnation when I was a bloodthirsty sportsman attempting to slay Bambi and His Mama up in far NW Texas...twixt Durango and Pagosa Springs..I had my coola severely chastised by them supposedly in the know when I called them dumb Colorado deer Mule Deer. I was quickly informed they was Colorado Black Tails. Whutcha know about all this stuff?
