So I read yesterday morning that it was "National Grilled Cheese Day" (yesterday 4-13-11); so I went to the store and bought stuff to make grilled cheese sandwiches for dinner.
I used provolone, swiss, mild cheddar, gruyere, black forest ham, maple bacon, watercress and grilled peppers, onions and eggplant; with fresh made french bread (topped with parmasian and butter).
They were killer!!! (IMHO) :D

Paddio Daddio had like a 4 page post about grilled cheese and it didn't look half as good as yours!!! Nice Job!

Excellent look'n grilled cheese!

I like your idea of parm cheese on the outside. I saw a vid from foodwishes where he used shredded chesse on the outside of the bread
to add a nice crisp.

Thanks for the pix. I gotta do something like that for the kids, without the veggies(little shisters are a couple Nancy's!)

Holly crap Batman, that sandwich would stop the Green Lantern in his tracks! I see you've been using the Japanese secret "Sacred Power" sauce again . . . not a fair fight.
Gotta love the chilled Sake!
