You can buy em brand new in New Zealand. But they aint DOT approved, You also have to dissasemble it to ship into the US or Homeland Security will confiscate it. They will allow it in as parts in seperate shipments, then you have to buy DOT approved lites speedo tires & have all the paper crap done for registering a kit bike.

Or just buy a used US one off E bay like I did. I still hate Ebay as stated before.
We have a 96 Honda XR 200 that my son wants to buy the stuff needed to make it street legal, He found a kit for $450 with the lighting coils lights switches speedo ect for it... He's going back to collage next fall out of town & it would make a nice run around campus bike. It aint as rare as these 2 I bought so if its stolen it aint no biggie
