My favorite soup.

Vichyssoise! (Leek and potato soup)

You GOTTA make your own stock. chicken parts, onion, garlic, carrots, tops from some of the leeks, spices.

Misenplace
2 large onions, and 4 leeks (white part only), 3-4 garlic cloves.

Saute them down

Add Stock and 4-5 potato's.

Blend. Season with white pepper, salt, nutmeg, and mace.

Re: My favorite soup.

I just been sitting around feeling sorry for the person who trimmed up all them veggies in the shoe string style. I bet that took a while. Now Juan Can Cook have it knocked out in seconds with his big meat cleaver. If he wasnt available seems like a woman would be good at that chore too. Guess that is how the term wimmens work got invented.
