Congrats Mike I use windows movie maker on XP SP2 base machines,
Its easy to use & if you loose power while editing a clip windows somehow saves the file & automaticly recovers it for you next time you open WMM.
I did have to install a second hard drive, Videos eat up storage. I also use a thumb drive to tranfer from home to my office CPU...

Hey Boy why don't ya play us a BBQ jingle during your next clip. Live too Boy, Ya still got you guitar huh?

I do have a Tripod SS.

Oh and I found the remote hand thingy too. Tho I may still use JB's "remote" skillz for some impact.

I only have a 64 meg card in it now and am looking for the plug in so I don't use batteries all the time.

Thanks guys!

They don't even sell my type of Media Card so it looks like I'll need to buy a new camera. I seen that one you got JB at Wally mart today but didn't buy it.

I'll go back and get it soon.

I wonder how much footage I can get on this 64 meg card?
hmmm?

I made a couple but they are all in Quicktime movie format. The windows proggy won't imort the files.
The camera made one but it was 9 megs big.

My phone filmed 2 as well but again they are quicktime as well. I uploaded one but it won't load or play. Some wierd file format.

I'm just gonna go after Church to Wallymart and get me a Cam,era like ole JB. If'n it's good enough for Double Damnit BOY Productions it's good enough for me!

I got some Grilling can film this afternoon and I have 6 butts and 2 briskets going on later for an overnight cook so I'll have material to film.

CHURCH is first!!!
Gotta tell the Big Guy Thanks for all His blessings like my Wife, my Life and even all you good folks. Yes you guys are a blessing to me too. Thank you Jesus!

Back later

What type of file is created when ya'll record?
Two cameras and my Treo phone all create [ .3gp & .MOV ] files.

My Windows Movie Maker can't import them.

I tried to use a free converter thing but that doesn't work.

I tried to just upload the clips in their .3gp file format but that don't work either. I can see the file in the FTP proggy but URL says it's not there.
Hmmm?

I did a test with my camera at Tim's last weekend and got about 30 seconds. It's un edited and a large file.

Here is the test footage we did with Stu's camera inside my house.

Look at me! Look at Me!

Any help converting or editing those file types would be great thanks.

Mike, the .mov type is fine...the quality is good. I would suggest uploading the file to www.viddler.com It will give you an embed code to put on your site...kinda like on my home page. It will play faster then having the .mov load...dial up users will never get video that way.

If possible, convert the file to an mp4.

Let me know if you need any help...

I'd need to edit clips and add an intro I talked about as well as the credits at the end first. Thanks for the link
