Morels

It's shroom time in Alaska. Record wild fires last year has turned into beaucoup mushrooms this year. This is a three pound sack.

Yeah, we get them in early may in this part of the country. Big ones too. 4-5" high. One of the best meals I ever had was fried crappies with flour dusted and butter sauteed morels! A true shore lunch! They are great in an omlet too!
