The tongs I have are starting to bend and I need some strong enough to turn a 3 - 4 Lb. half of a chicken. Thanks.

Hands or leather gloves is my vote. Or check target for some good tongs.

I picked these tongs up at a restaurant supply store for under $10.00. They are 16 inches long and very strong. The feature I like is that they have a metal key at the top that releases them so they can open all the way. Just grab them in one hand and hit the key against your thigh and your off and grabbing chickens or whatever.

Got to agree with Lew, Scotty and Nick. Edlunds is the best. Only place I have seen them is Ace Mart. Mine are a little shorter than Lew's but if you have the strength to hold it you can flip 20 pound briskets with em all day long. They were less than 10 bucks but I've had them for years and they work as good as new.
