last nights supper

Went down to the old house we hunt out of for a down home cook with some friends. Had calf fries (rocky mountain oysters), mashed taters, fried corn, brown beans , biscuits and gravy.

As usual, I was the last one left at the table. Oh well, somebody has to do it.

Well Dog..they just like eating a Twinkie. Got that cream filling ya know Actually just kidding. Sliced thin and fried crisp they mighty tasty. Now you get some big ones cooked in cold grease by somebody who dont know how to handle them they can start turning disgusting purty quick..sorta got a musty flavor to em. Sorta like a chicken thigh with body odor. Now them in the pics looks excellent. Here in God's Country..Mountain Oysters come off a pig. Calf Fries come off a boy cow. Now do not wind up like that yankee who come down here to eat calf fries. Yeppers..wouldn't ya know..the bull drug him to death
