Bought some Kiwi knives for the heck of it. They are nice and sharp and shiney... Thin metal with nice handles. Not very good quality. Something you could find in a market in Thailand. I am going to thrash the heck out of them and see what happens.....These are all the Wok shop @ http://www.wokshop.com sold.

I picked up mine at my local Thai market about a month ago. I've been pretty happy with them. Definitely will take them camping and won't cry over losing them or if they break/etc.

That Greek flag...needs to be bigger!!! :D

I bought two 12" knives and the cleaver after reading the last post on them. They are thin but you can't beat the price. I used the cleaver to hack up a full turkey and it was a breeze. The other knives are useful when I have something delicate like a tomato or a tomatillo that I need to cut into thin slices. They work great for that, too. Very pleased with the purchase so far.

I have the third one from the left and I HAVE ABUSED it! The handle broke into pieces but Gorilla glue fixed that problem. Mine has wood handles. My new one has plastic. Paper thin onions is no problem.

I've had one of these for about a month or so and I use it all the time, although if I had a lot a stuff to cut I always reach for my Forschner.
