I had a couple king crab legs left over from dinner over the weekend and recalled a Bobby Flay throw down a couple weeks ago with lobster rolls. So I modified it to my taste. Basically, I left out the tomatoes and added avacado. I started with the chunked crab legs with just a little mayo.

Put that on some toast.

Added a layer of bacon and avocado.

The finished product.

It was great.

Mighty good looking crab sandwich. I bet that crab is as fresh as it can be coming from up there in your part of the world. Wish we could get fresh crab like that here. They sell it as fresh but I have my doubts.

Crab has to be cooked and as soon as it is killed. Unless you live where the fishermen deliver crab there is no such thing as fresh crab.
