Just a guy, his BBQ, and his...Owl?

So, my bbq buddy "Owl Bundy" is back after a few hard winter months. And I got to cook one of my favorite things, spare ribs. Owl Bundy loves rib bones, and he keeps the mice out of my detatched garage/bbq porch. Today was a good day!

Yeah. I don't know if it's the heat from the cooker, the classic rock from the radio, the smell of bbq, or the possibility of scraps that he likes. But when I'm cookin at the house, the owl comes by, and just hangs out.

Yep. But when my wife comes outside he takes off, and comes back when she leaves. She hates him, and she thinks I should shoot him. I'm in no position to analyze the mind of a bird, (or a woman for that matter)but I think the feeling is mutual.

No flippin. We had a tame duck who would fight the rotty over a spare rib. Guess some meat eating birds are like that.
