but if you not soaking them beans over night you not cooking them right . [smilie=sorry.gif] .

what you think makes them so creamy ? throw them in a pot with some water and go to sleep . wake up the beans are ready to cook and yes use the water you soaked them in to cook them in . [smilie=poke.gif]

What did you eat as a main dish? We eat that stuff as a side dish down here. Sure looks good though. Did it fill you up? [smilie=a_goodjobson.gif]

There are recipes that call for a overnite soak. But the recipe on the bag doesn't call for it. That might be due to Camillia's processing method. I follow the recipe & mine allways come out consistantly perfect. I do let em soak after rinsing while I'm choppin the veggies.

A warning, If you do soak em overnite they will more than double in size (like when cooking) so make sure your container is large enough

JB don't never go away hungry, specially when it's down home food. ;)

Off topic. When I make beans. Pinto beans usually. I clean them off and then bring to a rapid boil for less than 30 seconds and then take them off the burner for 1 hour and then bring to a simmer and they are ready in less than an hour. Just what they showed me down here and it works for pintos. Back to topic: I would have filled up on that myself with a big heaping bowl too... :D
