Picked up some hot Italian sausage from the butchers (They make their own sausage, brats, etc) the other night. Fried it up and simmered in sauce for a couple of hours then refrigerated it for two days. Reheated it last night, added a salad with olive oil, balsemic vinegar, and red wine vinegar dressing, and a crusty hard roll.

 
Those rock.. what is that spice they put in them to make it sweet? some kind of seed....

Bruce nailed it. These are not sweet, this place makes their own, these are about the hottest sausages I've ever gotten from anywhere.
 
Ummm John, Italian sasages isgood for you & me. :LOL: We have 2 Italian specialty stores here, They both make great sausages & other items. I hate to say but one of em makes the skatti sauce & meatballs I ever tasted, JB make a damm good balls & sauce too, but theirs is better :cry:
