It Was Pie Day Today (pics)

Made 4 Canadian Tortiere Meat Pies today and an Egg Nog/Kahlua Pie.

My Mom use to make the meat pies every Christmas and then after she passed away it was a tradition that just passed with her. So I figured this year I would revive it and see if I could duplicate them or perhaps make them better. So with the help of Diva Q, Steve McMurtry, and my Mom's recipe, here they are. Two are going to my Dad and Brother and one for my Sister's house tomorrow, and I get to keep the fourth.

From me and my family to you and yours, here's wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Safe New Year.

I think it is great when recipes get passed down thru the generations.
