My father in law has a pit in the ground with a pipe that leads to a 55 gallon drum a couple of feet away. He hangs the eels in the drum and has the fire in the pit. When ever he smokes, all the krauts from his homeland come over and drink manhattens for the 6+ hours that he smokes the eels. Pretty funny watching them at the end of the smoke when they are all $hitfaced and trying to eat the eels!

I wouldn't mind joining the krauts for that.

The eels are terrible but the Manhattens are great!
