I made Surfinsapo's Chile Rellenos...very good.

I tried my hand at Chile Poblano (Rellenos) this afternoon.

I have made them before (once or twice) but did know how to do the batter.

Sufinsapo explains how to do it. I viewed Surfinsapo’s video a long time ago and have wanted to try his recipe. Thanks Surfinsapo.

Next time I need to char the chilies longer…they were kind of crunchy. I also set off the smoke detector while frying the third one. Otherwise all came out well.

Great Job. That Sapo knows his stuff! I'm going to try his Morrocon lamb stew soon.

I may have missed it in the video. Where, if any, do you put the salt?

I didn't add salt. I used it in the salsa I made.

Guess I been a gringo too long..aint never bumped into a chile rellenio deal which really lit my fire. Now if I was to try some of Sapo's sure I change my mind on that deal. Still waiting on his enchilada recipe..which I notice is still conspiculously absent from the recipe section. Whut is up here? Thanks.
