It's going bye bye now.... to the west!!! The wind this morning was stronger than when it was a hurricane.. All my surf friends on South Padre Island are without power and have damaged homes... They are the ones that could use some prayers now... Yall are the coolest people I know from a forum.. All the others are too proud...

Us too. All we got was a sprinkle out of it. We need a rain bad.

about 1 lbs... woops it's gone now....

We rode out a tropical storm named Fern down at Corpus in the early to mid 70's. Had been a Hurricane but got itself demoted time it hit land. Recall vividly driving down Saratoga Blvd. aboout 4 PM with the speedometer reading 5 miles per hr. and the rain hitting the windshield sideways in torrents. You could not see the hood ornament on the car. My partner was screaming "slow down." Course I had to splain to him if I slowed down much mo we would be stopped I do not want to go through a real Hurricane. Praying the Lord will keep His hedge of protection and wall of fire around you all.
