How long roughly should it take to re-heat a 2#lb vac sealed bag of Pulled Pork using the boil method? Thanks
I could not live without a FoodSaver! Sure, there not cheap. But do the math and you can save a ton of money. It will pay for itself.bbquzz said:I'm hoping Santa brings me a FoodSaver so I can test this techniques out.
Reason the bag breaks is that the water is too hot.bigwheel said:Few dozen times I've tried it..either the bag broke or I thought it was hot but it wasnt. I would not be looking forward to that kinda BS for Christimas

I have heard of guys cutting a small corner off the bag and reheating in a microwave. Never tried that trick. If it has sauce on it it seems to reheat faster. Why? I have no clue.

I'll give it a shot. 100% power? Half? Defrost?Shores said:Pigs On The Wing BBQ said:About 20-30 min. in simmering water. Is sauced? don't boil the water. A nice low simmer works best. I never boiled to reheat. I've ALWAYS put the entire bag in the microwave. I don't cut the corner either. The bag will swell with heat and eventually make it's own hole . If it's not hot enough, zap it again. Pretty simple!

Not to mention the blushing bride having to clean goulash off the chandalier prob cut a person off for a week or two. That be contingent on them figgering out where you was getting it of course
