Homedepot deal on high heat paint is it worth it?

Compared to what I sell (StoveBrite at $15 a can) it's a steal. But do you need 6 cans? It has a shelf life. You might end up paying $39.95 for 2 cans when the other 4 are worthless a few years later.
 
I do a quart of good old Rust- Oleum and mix it with a pint of high heat stove paint. You can get a empty clean gallon can from any auto paint shop for about a dollar. Brush it on and let to set in the sun all day, and that will take any brush marks out. I have painted the pig pit twice since 1995. It sits outside all year. Works for me.
