Just saw this on another board..

"Bay Area getting hammered!
This is about as worse as it can get without calling it a hurricane.

All Bay Area freeways and surface roads flooded. Blizzard conditions in the Sierra's, massive amount of snowfall. North of the Bay Area: Napa, Marin, and Sonoma, wiped out by landslides."
 
Well, look for a resurgence in the popularity of French wines if that is indeed the case! :!: They just hunker down in the "cellars" and live off of 2,000,000 gallons of wine and aged cheese until it blows out!
 
just saw Guerneville under water ... wow ... when I moved to SF in 82, I was greeted with 49 straight days of rain .. seems to be about the same weather pattern now, as then
