There was a certain point in time when they decided beating the Washington Generals all the time wasn't good enough, so they started to play D1 college teams. They promptly got their asses handed to them on a regular basis..funny to find the Generals back on their schedule after that failed idea!!

Newsflash.......The Harlem Globetrotters were once a legitimate team!!!! They were formed by a New Yorker named Abe Saperstein (sp) as the first "all-negro" pro basketball team. Talk about a can of worms!!!!
