And happy Turkey Day to new friends too! Yesterday I won the "Boozer" family Friday-after-thanksgiving-Husker-gameday-Rib-cookoff. This is a family tradition that dates back to the 1950's, when my grampa used to wrap featherbones with squirrels, and smoke them in a brick hearth. This has, for many years been a contest between my dad and his 6 brothers. Not this year, for the first time, the best ribs were cooked by someone from my generation, not my brothers or my cousins but me! Thanks for all of the great advice, to everyone here, And hope you all had a great thanksgiving! You helped make mine extra fun!
