Cooked a ham in my Charbroil oil less turkey fryer. This is the second on I have made at they turn out fantastic!! Real juicy inside and a nice crispy crust on the outside. I don't put anything on the hams either. Open them up, pat them dry and let some of the chill off of them and then let them cook. Total cook time was around 4 hours.

Just put the ham in.

Almost half way done. Was not getting hardly any color so I put the lid on for about 45 minutes after the pic was taken.

This is becoming my favorite way to cook a ham. Very flavorful and so easy a dumbass could make it.

That looks fantastic, John! Very nice and great pix! Looks like you nailed that one!

So what else have you cooked in it ? I think I want one... Does it come apart for cleaning ?

I have cooked 2 hams and one turkey. Both turned out great. I have only tasted one fried turkey before and that was a long time ago so I really can't compare a real fried one to an oil less one. The inside insert comes out and there is a drip pan in the bottom .
