Know what the laws are in your jurisdiction conditioning your right to self defense. A police officer told me once: Call 911 and report an armed home invasion, set the phone down but leave it on, shout out "I've called 911, I have a gun, get out of my house now," and then reduce the threat.

The cost is why I don't own that firearm or have a need for it. I suppose my 12ga will have to make do.

13 Firearms and over 5000 rounds......can you say Swiss Cheese!! When I was in Law Enforcement some 25 years ago, a fellow officer made this statement. " I'd rather be judged by twelve than buried by six". Makes since to me!!
