How did it just appear on that plate at yer house without and recipe or cooking times and temps?

I wish I could fry chicken like that... I tried once and it wasn't cooked all the way through. Props to the wife!!!

Looks like a fine meal B1. SS fried chicken is easy I'll post a recipe in a bit. the main things are:
Use a element type deep fryer (a Fry Daddy aint gonna cut it)
Don't over load a 120 volt fryer (the oil will cool too much)
If you use a heavy pot on the stove use a thermometer
(280 to 305deg oil temp)
If using a pot strain the oil with a fine screen type strainer between batches, don't drain the oil just run the strainer around in hot oil to pick up as many burned pieces of batter you can.

Man them southern boys and girls can cook. Tell the Mrs, Job well done for me. My momma is from KY and does fried chicken about once a month or so. She has been out of the country for 2 months now. The whole family is ready to put the tongs back in her hand the minute she gets off the plane this weekend.
