Go ahead, rub it in.

You guys up north can have this cold white stuff. JB said he is gonna Q today, and I said I was too. Nope. Not for me. 100F yes, 35 and snowing NO!

Stayed inside and made this instead

Frita De Pollo and Arroz con Parbonzos. Both Cuban dishes. Both from the 'Three Guys from Miami' cookbook.

Fried shredded chicken and basically a jambalaya the Cuban way.

Go ahead rub it in. I'm warm and toasty and full.

It's warmer in Cleveland than down south. Go figure, won't last long!

Food looks great as usual Ron!

I-12 don't even run through Shreveport. That's I-20

I figured at least one of you would have used the word 'milksop.'

My heater works great!

Speaking of cookbooks... if you ever get by a Morris Press... or probably any other small fund raising press, they usually have a small room where they sell over runs. I get by Morris Press about once a year. They have boxes of nice cookbooks for $1 up! If you buy several, they have a box of "free" ones to pick from. These are the types of cookbooks you see being sold as fund raisers, church cookbooks, family reunion cookbooks, etc. I have found some great cultural cookbooks in the boxes! Funny that I have never found a "bbq" cookbook!
