Getting rid of the Plastic smell-

Hey, Does anyone have any tips on how to get rid of the plastic smell from a sprayer?

I'm using a commom 1 Gal garden sprayer to spray Apple juice on my ribs. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get rid of that plastic smell?

Water & Bakeing soda?
Vinager & water?

I don't want to take a chance & ruin the sprayer.
Any help will be very much appreciated.

Thanks,
-CavinDave

I'd be choosing a food grade sprayer.
Baking soda and water and brush it.
