James Bond, remember the recipe you posted http://www.bbq-4-u.com/viewtopic.php?t=7780 Crawfish Bisque and you got all freaked out about the copyright? Well I emailed Chuck Taggart and was very open about his alleged copyright and told him his recipes have been being posted on cooking forums. That was back in January, this is April and he still hasn't responded to protect his alleged copyright.

Not to beat a dead horse but this is his recipe http://www.gumbopages.com/food/soups/craw-bisque.html is it comes up on a screen via the URL. This is what a real copyrighted Internet page looks like http://lpoli.50webs.com/index_files/andouille.pdf please not the copyright at the bottom of every page.

I recently herd a legal story about copyrighted information on the Internet; I wont try and quote it word for word to avoid the potential reticule of having a word wrong but the jest if the story was that there's a fat chance of upholding any copyright on the Internet. Once you post information to a public domain, it's pretty much public information to be used by the public. That being said, James, they're not going to hunt you down like a mad dog and shoot you. Don't worry, be happy.

It appears you didn't understand the post; the main message is that there was a news story about just that subject and the message was if you post information in a public domain it's public information and there's nothing you can do about someone using it as they please.

I hope this helps you understand how your comment is inappropriate.

Horse hockey... I call it professional CAJUN courtesy to paste a link to the site of a fellow Cajun's recipes, Especially good ones.
