Friday Night Jukebox

I've done this in the past and this weeks post from Chez John was pretty moving, so I thought I'd share.

Mr. New Orleans

Enjoy!

I was listening to Del McCroury "My Love will not Change",
Charlie Daniels "Carolina" and a little of the Busch race.

What's the BBQ Forum?

What would happen if you referenced this site over there?

Ray won't even let you link to a topic or picture on a site like this....believe me on this one. He'll also send you nasty little emails.

There's a reason that his site is not listed in the "Favorite BBQ Links" Forum!

The shame of it is, there's great people on there like Chez and BBQBob,
fantastic knowledge.

But the format sucks and Ray has driven off lots of other great q'ers with his QNazi attitude. I found that site about 5 years ago and it fueled my love for q. That's when I got serious about making it, instead of just
eating it.

I still check it daily, but I just can't hang out there. Too much talk about
the KC competitions. In fact that's why I started BBQBoard, but I didn't know enough people to keep it humming like this one. When I saw this board take off, I just let my board go. The best thing about this site is
complete freedom....we can link to anything, including other boards.

People here love to tussel and every now and then, there's some ugliness when it gets to serious, but if someone has a question,
answers come immediately. We may not be the biggest board,
but I like it here best.
