Not that I have any more spare money than anyone else but
sometimes I have to laugh when people are drastically changing
their plans in life (especially plans for something they enjoy)
just because of gas price increases.

Not to say gas isn't high enough already but should that "extra"
stop you from doing things you like?

I know gas & diesel prices are different everywhere but the basic
idea is the same... by summer everything will jump $.50 - $.75 a
gallon more then likely .........

Based on a 1,000 mile round trip and figuring it on your vehicle getting
15 (fifteen) mpg.
The increase in cost of your round trip would be $33.33 if a $.50 jump

The increase in cost of your round trip would be $50.00 if a $.75 jump

@ 20 mpg it would be an increase of $25.00 and $37.50

Keep your overall plans and skip ONE TIME eating out
and you'll have SAVED money on your trip

I agree... we had some friends who were going to cancel their vacation at the last minute and loose a $150 timeshare exchange fee because gas prices went up... I mean really... figure it out... duh... forfeit $150 to save 50 bucks maximum in gas...

... they ended up going but they didn't enjoy it because they felt they "had to go"

get a brain people
