deep fried....

OREOS

yes someone who shall remain nameless DAVE mentioned deep fried oreos. I tried to get out of it by telling D that I didn't know what to coat them in (not entirely untrue) and he said "Can't we use cake mix, mom?"

so cake mix it was--a little egg and water to make a thick batter, drop in the oreos, and deep fry them.

It was really, really good

LOL deep fried stuff is gooooooooooooooood

(and this is why I don't own a turkey fryer counter top fryer or have much oil on hand at any time - way too tempting)
